Victoria
Victoria Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is one of the most beautiful places to visit while travelling on Vancouver Island. If you enjoy history visit The Empress Hotel, the Parliament Buildings, China Town, and the beautiful Beacon Hill Park founded in 1882. This park has so much to offer including a petting farm, flower gardens, playground, duck pond and is ideal for a quiet stroll, family picnic and more.

The Royal BC Museum is a must see with its many showcases, exhibits and provides visitors with plenty of historical information on Victoria and the province of BC. Don't miss the National Geographic Imax theatre and its many films to choose from. Stop in and explore the Royal BC Wax Museum, the Undersea Gardens or take a fishing or whale-watching tour from the Inner Harbour. You can tour Victoria's Inner Harbour by foot, pedi-cab, horse-drawn carriage, double-decker bus or ferry taxi.

Passengers on the Washington Ferries, which sails from Port Angeles, Washington, arrive in downtown Victoria. Colourful flowers and breathtaking scenery make up this city, and there is no question why this it is known internationally as the "City of Gardens". Spend the day in downtown Victoria shopping in the Eaton's Centre or in the many shops surrounding it. There are numerous restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and clubs to try and you won't be disappointed!
